SMSocial therefore treats the feed, social graph, messaging and notifications as connected parts of one product.

Feed and Activity

The feed is the main activity surface. Members can publish, react, comment and return after a refresh without the experience feeling temporary or disconnected. Activity is designed to remain the canonical source for social interactions that may also appear in other views.

People and Network

The Network area represents social relationships such as followers, following, connections and requests. The distinction between following and accepted connections matters because different interactions can require different levels of relationship.

Messages

Private conversations are available within the SMSocial interface rather than redirecting users to WordPress administration.
